How quickly can you arrange finance?
Indicative quotes typically come back within hours. Straightforward bridging loans can complete in 5-10 working days; auction finance can move faster where the pack is clean. Mortgage and development applications run on a more typical 2-8 week timeline depending on complexity, valuation and legal work.
Which lenders do you work with?
We hold relationships with over 130 lenders including high-street banks, specialist bridging and development funders, challenger and private banks, and alternative business finance providers. That breadth means we can place complex, urgent and large cases that a single-lender approach cannot.
How much does it cost to use Doulton?
Broker fees are disclosed upfront and vary by product and complexity. On large bridging and development deals fees are often paid from the lender's arrangement fee rather than by you directly. We never charge upfront fees on loans exceeding £1m.
Can you help if my case has been declined elsewhere?
Often yes. A declined mainstream application usually means you were placed with the wrong lender, not that the deal can't be funded. Specialist, private and challenger lenders all have criteria mainstream banks won't see. Tell us what happened and we will benchmark your case across our full panel.
Do you work with expats and overseas borrowers?
Yes. We have a dedicated international desk covering UK mortgages for expats based in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, the USA and dozens of other jurisdictions, plus UK bridging and development finance for overseas investors. Most applications can be completed without returning to the UK.
